Week 10 NFL Picks
Last Week: 7-6
Season Record: 85-44 (65.9%)
HOME TEAMS IN CAPS
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS 24, Chicago Bears 20
-How do the Bears and 49ers bounce back on a short week after both losing at home this past weekend. Considering the 49ers don't have to fly halfway across the country...I'll take them this week.
TENNESSEE TITANS 26, Buffalo Bills 13
-Look out AFC...under Vince Young the Titans are 2-0 and making a push. They should overwhelm an underachieving and banged up Bills defense for a comfortable win.
New Orleans Saints 34, ST. LOUIS RAMS 14
-If the Saints score any less than 4 offensive touchdowns, I would be very surprised.
MIAMI DOLPHINS 24, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10
-Bucs rookie QB Josh Freeman was very impressive in his first career start vs. Green Bay. Miami should blitz him all day and make his NFL road debut a nightmare.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS 31, Detroit Lions 13
-Brett Favre throws for 2 scores and Adrian Peterson runs for 2 in an easy Vikings victory.
NEW YORK JETS 28, Jacksonville Jaguars 20
-I know the Jags have been poor on the road, but look for them to put up a decent fight with a hungry Jets team who desperately needs a win coming off their bye week.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS 27, Cincinnati Bengals 13
-The Steelers, despite playing on a shortened week due to the Monday nighter they played in Denver, have revenge on their minds for a tough last minute Week 3 loss to the Bengals.
Denver Broncos 20, WASHINGTON REDSKINS 7
-Don't be surprised if Redskins Coach Jim Zorn gets the boot after another miserable performance.
CAROLINA PANTHERS 24, Atlanta Falcons 21
-Carolina's excellent rushing attack against a woeful Falcons rushing defense? I'll take the home Panthers by a field goal as they should rush for well over 200 yards as a unit.
Kansas City Chiefs 21, OAKLAND RAIDERS 10
-Upset Special: Last year Oakland beat Kansas City in KC early in the year and lost at home to the Chiefs later in the season. Look for history to repeat itself this Sunday in the Oakland Coliseum (or whatever they call it now!).
GREEN BAY PACKERS 27, Dallas Cowboys 21
-On the strength of a 2nd half defensive touchdown, Green Bay pulls off the home upset against Wisconsin native Tony Romo and the Cowboys.
ARIZONA CARDINALS 27, Seattle Seahawks 21
-Can the Cardinals actually win a home game comfortably? I'm starting to think the answer is NO.
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS 23, Philadelphia Eagles 19
-This could be a letdown game for San Diego...but with the AFC West seemingly back in the play, I don't see the Chargers losing a crucial home game at this juncture.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 34, New England Patriots 28
-Game of the year? If this isn't it...then it should be close. Look for Peyton Manning and Tom Brady to put on an aerial show...but the undefeated Colts simply are clicking better right now.
Baltimore Ravens 23, CLEVELAND BROWNS 13
-I see the Browns scoring a few points to keep this one respectable; the Ravens desperately need a win streak to get their playoff hopes back on track.
Be back Friday with a big weekend of college football picks!
